Cohen as a Partner in the Firm’s New York office. Cohen brings an accomplished practice and international arbitration expertise to the Firm’s expanding operations in New York City.

Cohen is Co-Founder with Arthur Marriott QC of 12 Gray’s Inn Square Chambers in London. He is admitted to practice in both New York and England and Wales. His practice focuses on international arbitration, transnational litigation, global strategic advice, and regulatory inquiries, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act implementation, and U.S. Trade Sanctions.

He is the lead author of International Corruption (Sweet & Maxwell, 2010), the only book to approach the subject of bribery and anti-bribery compliance from a multi-jurisdictional perspective. He is also the lead author of the chapter on U.S. internal investigations in Corporate Internal Investigations: an International Guide (Oxford University Press, 2008). He has written numerous articles on internal investigations, extraterritorial jurisdiction of U.S. laws, and Department of Justice corporate prosecution guidelines.

Prior to starting 12 Gray’s Inn Square Chambers, Cohen was at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and its predecessor firm in New York, where he was Co-Founder and Coordinator of the Global Investigations and Defense Practice Group. His experience includes working in the Office of the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague in 1996, and he was a Speechwriter and Communications Consultant for the Clinton/Gore Presidential Campaign in 1992.
