Cremation Jewelry – Mend A Heart Instead Of Breaking The Bank
Press release from: Cremation Jewelry – Mend A Heart Instead Of Breaking The Bank
Tough economic times have dictated rising costs virtually everywhere. From everything to gasoline to retail goods to grocery items, consumers are feeling a consistent pinch in their pocketbook. Some retailers, however, have managed to keep their prices low despite the rising costs of materials and are persistent in keeping their goods priced affordably for consumers. Everlasting Memories president and co-founder, Casey Doran, has tracked the price of sterling silver over the past ten years and despite a significant increase in cost, has held his prices with little to no increase.
Sterling bullion is a mainstay in the jewelry business and cremation jewelry is no exception. In April of 2001, silver price per ounce was around $4.42. Today, silver prices have skyrocketed to over $46.00 per ounce and the trends show no signs of precious metal prices dropping in the near future. Doran has not passed the increases onto his consumer and hopes to continue to hold off for the foreseeable future. “We deal with thousands of customers that are in a state of grief and have major decisions on their hands,” states Doran. “Our foundation for starting the company was to help those in need and we can’t do that by charging consumers higher prices.” Doran also notes that by keeping their costs low and affordable consumers have been able to purchase additional items for family members and friends that are grieving. “It’s a win win situation,” says Doran.
Rising costs worldwide have affected consumers and retailers alike and virtually every industry has felt the economic hit. Some retailers such as Everlasting Memories are taking alternative measures such as decreasing overhead costs rather than pass on the higher prices of the materials to their consumers. Fewer higher priced items combined with savvy business sense has allowed Everlasting Memories to grow and expand while helping those that are grieving.
Everlasting Memories is an online retailer of cremation related products such as cremation urns, cremation jewelry and more. Founded in 2003, the company has a resource center with helpful articles and additional information to educate consumers on cremation and assistance with cremation products and services.
