PublishAmerica Presents The Price of Freedom by Joe Fabel
Press release from: PublishAmerica
(openPR) - Frederick, MD March 20, 2007 -- PublishAmerica is proud to present The Price of Freedom by Joe Fabel of Elk Grove, California. This book is a collection of original poems written by the author to recognize and honor the men and women who spend the early years of their lives in our armed forces. While there is beauty and meaning in the words, the poems delve deeply into the minds and hearts of these veterans. Fabel wanted to portray the emotions, thoughts and feelings of these men and women. Their experiences are important lessons for all of us: those who remained at home as well as those who served. Most of the poems depict events of modern wars and a few touch upon conflicts in our past. All contain insights into who we are.
As a book reviewer for the Military Writers Society of America, Joe Fabel has read numerous written works of veterans. With such a background plus the encouragement of Bill McDonald, president of the MWSA, Joe has composed this work, his third published book of poetry. He has been an educator and a school administrator for many years. Now in retirement years, he has devoted his time to writing. He is a member of the California Writer’s Club, the Elk Grove Historical Society, the Elk Grove Civil War Roundtable, the American Association of Authors.
PublishAmerica is the home of 20,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
