California College San Diego to Offer Master of Science in Healthcare Administration On-Ground

(openPR) - San Diego, California, April 21, 2011 - California College San Diego (CCSD) now offers its Master of Science in Healthcare Administration program on campus. This degree was previously only available online through CCSD’s affiliate, Stevens-Henager College, Salt Lake City/Murray. With the introduction of this program on campus, students will have the option to choose the mode of education that best suits their objectives.
The Master’s in Healthcare Administration program at California College San Diego includes academic courses and research work designed to train graduates to develop and implement policies for the effective and efficient delivery of healthcare. Required courses include Healthcare Economics and Policy Analysis, Healthcare Finance, Healthcare Administration and Policy, Healthcare Information Systems, and other relevant topics. Students will also be asked to work, either individually or in teams, on projects or theses that exhibit their mastery over the concepts and skills they have learned throughout their academic study.
At California College San Diego, students can complete this degree in 15 months through the FastFlex program. To be eligible for admission to this program, candidates must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
Qualifying candidates must attend an on-campus interview before they can begin classes. Representatives at the San Diego campus will be also happy to take them through the various federal financial aid options that may be available to them if they qualify. Aspirants can also schedule a personal tour of the college campus. During their visit, they’ll learn about the various campus amenities and familiarize themselves with the facility before they begin school.
