WIPP BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBER GLORIA LARKIN INVITED TO MODERATE WOMEN’S PROCUREMENT SESSION AT OSDBU CONFERENCE
Press release from: TargetGov
(openPR) - Washington DC– Gloria Larkin, a member of Women Impacting Public Policy’s (WIPP) Board of Directors and President of TargetGov, has been invited to moderate a session about women’s procurement at the 21st Annual Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Procurement Conference.
The OSDBU Procurement Conference is a national conference fostering business partnerships between the Federal Government, its Prime Contractors, and small, minority, service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses. It will take place April 21st at the Dulles Expo Center South Hall in Chantilly, VA.
“The federal government has set a goal of 5% of the federal contracting budget for women-owned businesses. That amounts to over $25 Billion dollars in contracting opportunities. The more we know about federal contracting and the Women’s Procurement Program, the better we will be able to serve the federal government and do a great job on the contracts” said Gloria Larkin, President of TargetGov. “We have a seat at the table, now it is our responsibility to be ready to bid, win and perform the work.”
Ms. Larkin’s company, TargetGov, provides government procurement, business development, and marketing services. She is also the author of two books, “The Basic Guide to Government Contracting” and “The Veterans Business Guide: How to Build a Successful Government Contracting Business.”
