Meggitt integrates Microsoft Project Server with SAP via TPG PSLink

TPG The Project Group UK to deliver a Microsoft Project Server System with SAP integration at Meggitt Sensing Systems
TPG The Project Group, the world’s leading integrator of SAP and Microsoft Project Server, has been selected by Meggitt Sensing Systems to implement a Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution and integrate this with the SAP system via the product TPG PSLink. The solution will be initially implemented in Switzerland and France to help Meggitt Sensing Systems divisions there to schedule and forecast their entire project portfolio. Meggitt Sensing Systems is the Meggitt division specializing in sensing and monitoring systems. They measure physical parameters in the extreme environments of aircraft, space vehicles, power generators, nuclear, oil and gas installations and test laboratories.
TPG The Project Group will deliver Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) 2010 with integration to the Project Systems (PS) module of SAP, enabling Meggitt to schedule and forecast their entire project portfolio. The solution will meet the customer’s specific requirements including portfolio management, SharePoint collaboration, timesheets, SAP integration using TPG PSLink, Business Intelligence.
TPG’s expertise, coupled with the growing number of successfully integrated Microsoft EPM implementations, was a key factor in Meggitt’s selection process. Microsoft EPM and TPG PSLink (www.theprojectgroup.com/pslink) will be initially realized in the Meggitt Sensing Systems divisions in Switzerland and France jointly by TPG UK and TPG Switzerland. The Global deployment will then be supported by TPG worldwide.
