PSI Presents Innovative Logistics Solutions at the CeMAT

(openPR) - Berlin, 1 April 2011 – Under the motto of “Smart Grid for Logistics“,PSI subsidiary PSI Logistics GmbH will be presenting new software developments for the logistics sector at the CeMAT 2011 from 2 to 6 May in Hannover (Hall 27, Stand D18). Along with new modules and functionalities, new schools of thought for logistics as well as forums on the hot subjects of intra logistics will round out the company’s presentation at the fair.
With PSIwms warehouse management system and PSIglobal planning and controlling system, two primary software systems for logistics processes will be presented for the first time in the new release 2.0. In addition, the PSItms transportation management system will be demonstrated with a number of new functions and improved integration capabilities, optimal resource management and flexibility in the adaptation to individual requirements of the user. All the new system functions and modules will be presented on-site in live demonstrations.
The motto of this year’s show “Smart Grid for Logistics“ stands for the intelligent networking of logistics systems and underlines PSI’s innovative technological orientation. In addition, forums on the hot topics in intra logistics and logistics IT, with examples of applications as well as new approaches will be held every morning and afternoon at the PSI stand.
PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety.
