Kevin Chumney practices in the firm’s Dallas office, in the Corporate section. His practice involves all areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and public and private offerings of debt and equity. Mr. Chumney represents clients in a variety of corporate matters, including public and private acquisitions, equity investments, and securities and technology-related transactions.

Michael Dubner practices in the firm’s Dallas office, in the Intellectual Property section. He is a registered patent attorney whose practice involves all aspects of intellectual property law, with particular emphasis in patent, trademark and copyright procurement, litigation and counseling. Mr. Dubner works with clients to enforce and license intellectual property rights. He regularly counsels clients regarding the avoidance of third-party intellectual property rights, and manages and procures patent and trademark portfolios, both domestically and abroad.

Greg Meeks practices in the firm’s Houston office, in the Corporate section. His practice focuses on corporate, M&A and private equity matters, and his clients include public and private companies, boards of directors, board committees, executive officers, private equity funds and private equity portfolio companies. His corporate clients operate in a diverse range of industries, including energy, consulting, construction, manufacturing, and entertainment.

Michael Peay practices in the firm’s Dallas office, in the Tax section. He concentrates his practice in all aspects of sophisticated estate planning, probate and estate administration, guardianship administration, charitable planning, asset protection planning, business entity formation, and marital property issues. Mr. Peay also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust administrations, including disputes regarding wills and trusts, and clients in tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service.
