The bets are on as the Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour rapidly edges closer towards crowning the season’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champions at upcoming Tour-defining super-events, TTR SIX(6)STAR Burton US Open Snowboard Championships, 13th-18th March, 2007 at Stratton/Vermont, USA and TTR SIX(6)STAR Roxy Chicken Jam, 22nd-25th March, 2007, Park City/Utah, USA.

As the last SIX(6)STAR contests on the TTR World Snowboard Tour 06/07, the Burton US Open Snowboard Championships and Roxy Chicken Jam will be the final showground for the world’s top snowboarders to triumph as the Men’s and Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champions. With an aggregate six best results calculated for a rider to win the ultimate snowboard title, both events have a 25% increased value of TTR Ranking Points in Superpipe and Slopestyle formats to ensure the victories.

With just 10 days to go before the Men’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion 06/07 is crowned at the 25th Anniversary Burton US Open, the anticipation grows as over 30,000 spectators are expected to witness the world’s best riders battle out for precious TTR Ranking Points from two Finals. Tension of the tour drama heightens on Friday, March 16th as the outcome of the men’s Slopestyle Finals results will set the scene for the concluding chapter in the search for the Tour Champion among the Men’s TTR Top Ten. The snowboard world will be at the edge of its seat as Saturday’s March 17th Halfpipe Finals results will set in stone the victorious Tour winner as the Men’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion is proclaimed at approximately 15.00 hours, (US Standard Eastern Time).

With fresh results from both women’s Halfpipe and Slopestyle contests at the Burton US Open, the Tour suspense continues a week later as women’s Tour-defining event, the 3rd Annual Roxy Chicken Jam, gets set to pronounce the Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion 06/07. The new results from the Superpipe Finals on Friday, March 23rd will drastically affect the Women’s TTR Top Ten as the contest leads into an expectant finale at the Saturday, March 24th Slopestyle Finals, where riders brace themselves for the announcement of the new Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion 06/07.

Post-crowning the TTR Tour Champions, the calendar continues through to the end of April 2007. All TTR contests attended until then will provide riders with TTR Ranking Points for the 06/07 TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch to add to their overall ranking score until May 01st, 2007.
