(openPR) - Flensburg/Germany, 17.03.2011 – 2wcom, the leading manufacturer and supplier of professional audio satellite receivers wins the contract to equip TDF Group with 140 digital satellite receivers to replace the current ADR (Astra Digital Radio) receivers in Germany.

The shutdown of analog satellite technology ADR (Astra Digital Radio) will be carried out in 2012. ADR is replaced by the digital standard DVB-S, which allows receiving larger quantity of radio programs. After extensive testing, TDF Group opted for the professional DVB-S/S2 capable satellite receiver DSR01 from 2wcom.

The 2wcom digital satellite receiver DSR01 convinced TDF Group with its excellent audio performance and advanced compression techniques such as AAC-LC. In addition, the DSR01 has an outstanding error correction that ensures optimum reception even in bad weather conditions.
