INTRODUCING HOT NEW TTR FEATURES: MYSPACE, MEDIA FRIENDS, BRAND PARTNER & TTR TOP 5 RANKINGS FEEDS
Press release from: TTR World Snowboardtour
PR Agency: TTR World Snowboard Tour
(openPR) - Innsbruck, Austria. On the quest to progress, Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour launches brand spanking new features on the official website www.ttrworldtour.com, including TTR Brand Partner Ranking & Media ‘Friends’ sections and TTR’s very own myspace community.
Sure to shake the industry is a team manager’s dream – the Men & Women TTR Brand Partner Top 5. Composed of official Platinum and Gold TTR Brand Partners, the ranking is based on the total sum of the brand’s best three riders and their current ranking points on the TTR Ranking List. Check out how well the top team riders from Burton, O’Neill, DC Shoe Co USA, Rossignol, Voelkl and Quiksilver do by clicking into ‘PARTNERS’ on www.ttrworldtour.com.
The TTR Brand Partner Top 5 joins the original TTR Top 5 Ranking List presented by Swatch. Both Men’s & Women’s Brand & Ranking Top 5s are now available to websites as an XML Feed. Already active on top snowboard sites such as www.onboardmag.com, www.snowforce.com & www.snowbroader.com, any webmaster can sign up to receive the Top 5 of choice and display the most current information: the suspense grows as the days edge closer to the crowning of the TTR World Snowboard Tour Champions this month.
Also new to the TTR site is the Media Friends feature, profiling some of the world’s top snowboard magazines and websites. Catch all the essential information including cover shots, styles, languages printed, contacts and general idea of what these key media sources provide. Profiling the likes of 7th Sky (SUI), Playboard (GER), Superb (JAP), & Method (EUR), locate in ‘MEDIA’.
Keeping up with cyber-world addicts, TTR has finally created www.myspace.com/ttrworld. A behind-the-scenes look at the core snowboard scene, with exclusive images and video straight from riders like Travis Rice (USA), TTR events and personalities such as Drew Stevenson, TTR CEO. Join the community and keep up to date with bulletins of fresh news, TTR gossip, and coming soon, the TTR global blogs.
Also weekly and exclusive on www.ttrworldtour.com are brand new Rider Profiles - exclusive and in-depth 3-5 minute interviews on video shot at TTR events during the season of top international riders - including new uploads of Cheryl Maas (NED), Torah Bright (AUS), Markku Koski (FIN), reigning TTR World Tour Champion, Mathieu Crepel (FRA) and the infamous Shaun White (USA). Produced by Method.tv, watch riders talk about everything - from the beginning of their careers until their latest TTR victories. Visit their respective profile or ranking bio and click on the ‘TTR RIDER PROFILE’ logo.
Notes to the Editor:
Founded by Terje Haakonsen and industry innovators in 2002, the Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour is a non-profit, rider-driven organisation that aims to represent the progression of snowboarding. To create a clear rookie-to-pro structure, the TTR World Snowboard Tour is based on global grass root and key independent freestyle snowboarding events. Events are rated via a 1-through-6 Star system, with points allocated accordingly, a 6 Star event holding the highest. Any rider participating in these events, from up-and-coming to professional, will earn TTR Ranking Points and a position on the TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch. The top male and female rider is crowned Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour Champion.
