TTR THREE(3)STAR Austrian Masters
Press release from: TTR World Snowboardtour
PR Agency: TTR World Snowboard Tour
(openPR) - AUSTRIA GETS READY TO HOST TTR THREE(3)STAR EVENT THE AUSTRIAN MASTERS IN LOCAL SLOPESTYLE ACTION
Innsbruck, Austria. Slopestyle preparations are well underway as organizers of TTR THREE(3)STAR event Austrian Masters get ready to launch qualifying riders from the Austria Cup Tour into the finale at the K-Park in Kuehtai, 8th-11th March, 2007.
Lack of snow in the season had earlier forced Austrian Masters’ organizers to cancel the originally planned halfpipe format at Innsbruck’s Nordpark. With the K-Park snowpark in Kuehtai looking in good condition, the event continues solely with Slopestyle action. Run by Austria’s National Snowboard Association, Thursday March 8th begins Training, followed by Qualifications Friday and Finals Saturday. Men and women riders qualified through the ten-stop Austria Cup Tour.
With up to 15,000euro prize money and the all-important 550 TTR Ranking Points available to the winner of the Austrian Masters, the Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour makes its mark heavily in Austria this March, continuing with TTR FIVE(5)STAR top event, the Aesthetiker Waengl Taengel in Mayrhofen, and TTR THREE(3)STAR Absolut Spring Park Battle in Flachau Winkl, later this month.
Notes to the Editor:
Founded by Terje Haakonsen and industry innovators in 2002, the Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour is a non-profit, rider-driven organisation that aims to represent the progression of snowboarding. To create a clear rookie-to-pro structure, the TTR World Snowboard Tour is based on global grass root and key independent freestyle snowboarding events. Events are rated via a 1-through-6 Star system, with points allocated accordingly, a 6 Star event holding the highest. Any rider participating in these events, from up-and-coming to professional, will earn TTR Ranking Points and a position on the TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch. The top male and female rider is crowned Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour Champion.
