Dr. Leigh-Davis, editor in chief

Although working on the American TV show “The Legal Analyst,” Dr. Leigh-Davis hopes to attract new readers to Confidence Magazine, by giving away iTunes music mix CDs, to Londoners.

Although some have called glossy magazines a dying art, Dr. Leigh-Davis is optimistic as she and Confidence Magazine set up shop in London. Dr. Leigh-Davis, editor in chief of Confidence Magazine, opined, “The fact, J.K. Rowling became one of the richest women in the U.K., after writing a book series; is unequivocal proof: humans have not stopped wanting to read. To the contrary, most magazines do not fare well, because they are so poorly written and full of meaningless prose.”

Currently, advance copies of the spring issue of Confidence Magazine, are being given, gratis, to Londoners. In an effort to attract more attention, Confidence Magazine, in partnership with Dr. Leigh-Davis, is giving away audio CDs comprised of mixed music compilations of music from iTunes. These audio CDs usually have themes, and contain about 10 to 13 songs, all mixed together. Between songs are interludes, telling a story of their own: from historical speeches; to news reports; to a space shuttle launch. As before, the audio CDs are being given gratis to a select mailing list of Londoners. Linda Rivers at Confidence Magazine stated, “We would sell these CDs for around $18.00, because purchasing each individual song on iTunes can be costly.” Confidence Magazine is footing the bill, because “it is an investment in our future,” explained Dr. Leigh-Davis.

Coincidentally, editor in chief, Dr. Leigh-Davis, is the mix master behind these audio CDs. Dr. Leigh-Davis was an entertainment attorney for many years; is known for having an encyclopedic knowledge of music; and has previously arranged movie soundtracks. Currently, Dr. Leigh-Davis is working on taping the American television show, “The Legal Analyst,” a newsmagazine television program in which she stars and hosts. Additionally, Dr. Leigh-Davis continues to host the American television show “Los Angeles Philanthropic Endeavors,” (which is being renamed, “Profiles in Philanthropy.”)

Dr. Leigh-Davis is a law professor, retired attorney, anthropologist, and popular legal analyst and legal correspondent, who regularly appears on NBC news, CNN and Fox news. She is also the former host of the Court TV television show, “The Court is in Session.” More information about Dr. Leigh-Davis’ television, writing and radio projects, can be found on Dr. Leigh-Davis’ official website.
