T in the Park 2011 tickets will go on sale on 25th Feb 2011
The eighteenth T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2011 from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July. In February last year, T in the Park 2010 tickets sold out in less than 90 minutes due to demand from tens of thousands of music fans. The festival offers a huge variety of music across seven main stages with large camping areas, as well as other attractions, including a large funfair, comedy tent, silent disco, stalls, and food markets.
The line-up is billed to include 180 artists across eleven stages. On 27 October 2010, the Daily Record announced that Foo Fighters were "in the early stages of negotiating a deal" to perform at the 2011 event.[10] Foo Fighters were confirmed as headliners on 1 December 2010.
The same paper confirmed that Blink-182 were in talks to play the festival, in a headline performance. Bassist Mark Hoppus confirmed on 16 December via his Twitter that they would be playing at T in the Park. Organizers confirmed this formally the next day. The festival's full line-up is set to be announced in February 2011.
