Mazda has announced that the new MX-5 Special Edition with styling and suspension upgrades is available starting February in Australian showrooms. With the number of available units limited to just 200 and with the upgrades being added at no additional cost, interested buyers will need to hurry to secure one of these rare models.

Considered as one of the world’s best handling sports cars, the MX-5 Special Edition features the addition of Bilstein-tuned suspension and a bright painted strut tower bar provides a stylish finish to the suspension set-up.

On its exterior, the MX-5 Special Edition showcases new brightly painted 17-inch alloy wheels and a range of contemporary new exterior colours.

Dolphin Grey Mica and Sparkling Black Mica are the two new colours available along with the already popular Aluminium Metallic.

Inside the vehicle, the tone is set by unique leather seats complemented by a leather steering wheel and handbrake that both features grey highlight stitching. Chrome meter rings and air vent bezels complete the cool and laid-back look of the interior.

Aside from its unique styling and suspension upgrades, the MX-5 Special Edition features an impressive level of equipment including air-conditioning, cruise control, power windows, front and side airbags and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
