(openPR) - HMS Software, a leading provider of project management and enterprise timesheet solutions, has announced a new strategic alliance partnership with Strophe, ERP Specialists based in Laval, Quebec. The collaboration will allow Strophe and HMS to team together to provide an integrated accounting/timesheet solution to clients of both firms.

"This alliance is key for HMS," explains Chris Vandersluis, President of HMS Software. "Strophe is a well-known expert in finance and ERP systems that we will be able to introduce to HMS clients and, in turn, Strophe will be able to introduce HMS Software's TimeControl to its client base."

Both companies are well known to Microsoft. Strophe and HMS Software are Microsoft Gold Certified Partners with Strophe's specializing in Microsoft Dynamics and HMS specializing as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Microsoft Project/Project Server.

"We each have capabilities with Microsoft but we are not restricted there," says Stephen Eyton-Jones, Director of Technical Services at HMS. "In my meetings at Strophe it is apparent that both companies have experience in a wide range of technologies and we will be working together to bring the best combination to meet our client's needs."

As part of the strategic alliance, HMS will share its expertise in enterprise timesheet systems, enterprise project management systems and its published timesheet software TimeControl with Strophe's account management and technical personnel. Strophe will share its knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Finance systems with HMS Software's personnel. The companies have already begun joint training sessions of their staff.

TimeControl is designed as a multi-purpose timesheet which has helped it become one of the world's most popular timesheet systems. It is able to deliver time and attendance, time and billing, job costing and project time within the same interface, eliminating the need for multiple timesheet systems within the same organization. TimeControl is often used both for good governance within the organization as well as for government compliance such as R&D tax credit tracking, DCAA compliance, ARRA tracking as well as HR, Payroll, project management and more.

The HMS and Strophe alliance broadens the reach of both firms. HMS will now become a part of Strophe's extensive network of alliances and Strophe will join HMS Software's growing number of partners. The HMS partner program includes full-service TimeControl Dealers, consulting firms who are Alliance Partners and Strategic Alliance partners such as Strophe.
