Lil Wayne released a remixed version of the Green Bay Packers-backing anthem

Press release from: Ticketloot.com
(openPR) - Lil Wayne released a remixed version of the Green Bay Packers-backing anthem “Black and Yellow” with the new title of ““Green and Yellow”.” The new version was released two weeks ago while the original song was released by 22-year-old rapper Wiz Khalifa. Lil is an avid Green Bay Packers fan while Wiz is a huge fan of Steelers. The similarity between both artists is their arrest for illegal possession of marijuana drug. Lil came out of jail in November 2010 after 8 months of serving in case of illegal weapon possession.
Wayne was also spotted at the Super Bowl XLV game between Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, February 6, 2011 dressed in Green Bay Packers colors and fan gears. After the GBP’s victory over PS a tweeted picture of Lil has been re-tweeted 100 times and viewed 26,392 times just within twenty hours when another rapper Mack Maine first tweeted the Lil pictures dressed in yellow.
Lil Wayne’s eight months jail stay does seem to slow down the rapper and singer has already started working on his new upcoming album “Tha Carter IV”. According to a rolling stone magazine news article the album is expected to be released in April 2011. The "Lollipop" singer has released the new single "6 Foot 7 Foot" from the upcoming album and some of the visual and behind-the scenes clip of the video directed by Hype Williams will be premiered on MTV and MTV.com on Thursday, February 10 at 8pm during Lil’s first TV interviews after coming out of cell.
Lil, who is also CEO of The Young Company, will soon begin its 2011 “I Am Still Music" US tour, his first post jail tour that will also feature Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike. Through his fan base has been reduced due to its latest sentence but still his 3 concerts at Pennsylvania, Long Island and New York sold out just within 30 minutes after the public sales opened. Wayne will open his country tour on March18, 2011 and will run through June 1, 2011 touring cities including Buffalo, Columbus, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, Miami, Houston and Oakland among others.
Lil Wayne after its 8 months serving time in jail seems to learn from his past mistakes and he recently paid his $1.13 million back taxes to government that was due on him from 2004, 2005 and 2007. The amount owed to Internal Revenue Service was paid in full. Its good act by Lil to keep himself trouble free especially when his tour dates are coming closer.
