Fax and Unified Messaging for Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011
At CeBIT, serVonic offers two Special Packages for the new Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard. The packages are available for two channels and 10 or 25 users each and contain the services Fax and Voice as well as the IXI-UMS Connector SBE for the connection to Microsoft Exchange.
serVonic also offers a solution for the Microsoft SBS 2011 Essentials variants. “In contrast to the Standard-variant, Microsoft Exchange is only available as on-demand variant with the Essentials variant, like it is also intended in the Business Productivity Suite BPOS/Office 365 of Microsoft“, says Jochen Klein, CEO and Technical Consultant of serVonic GmbH. “In order to be able to use unified messaging also for the Essentials Edition of the Windows SBS 2011, serVonic’s BPOS Connect Service can be used.”
CTI with IXI-PCS
With the new CTI-solution IXI-PCS, serVonic offers the user an effective CTI-solution for a reasonable price, containing all the essential telephony features. E-mails with missed calls, a status monitor as well as the journal view round off the features at the workstation-PC. IXI-PCS as CTI-client is available for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac-workstations. Depending on the requirements, the software also offers a simple web client for the CTI-user in all the current web browsers as well as a Call Control Gateway for the Microsoft Office Communications Server. A Meta Directory, via that data from various data stock can be used for the caller identification, is already contained, too.
IXI-UMS Kernel 5.85 with Improved Fax- and Voice-Functionality
The new IXI-UMS Kernel Version 5.85 is extremely suitable for Microsoft environments with Exchange Server 2010 and Lync Server.
With the new version, serVonic also offers improved configuration possibilities for the administrators plus enhanced setting options for the users: A new web application allows the user to manage deposited fax cover sheets individually and choose them as required.
In the fields of Voice, voice mails now cannot only be retrieved as WAV, but also as MP3-files. As a result, the voice mails are available with a lower file volume; the user can listen to them with any smart phone without limitations. In addition to that, a user-dependent interval timer of the voice boxes is possible.
