McNeill Designs’ You’ve been Sentenced! game “Submit

McNeill Designs for Brighter Minds, creators of the multi-award winning word game You’ve been Sentenced! recently announced the “Submit Your Sentence” contest for 2011. The contest will award game enthusiast with monthly prizes for the submission of sentences using the You’ve been Sentenced! word game.

“Many loyal game enthusiasts have written to us over the years with funny sentences and even more hilarious explanations,” explains the firm’s CEO Donald McNeill. “This contest is a natural outgrowth of that excitement. Now we can reward players for their clever sentences with a monthly drawing for prizes that include new games, add-on decks and more.”

Submit Your Sentence Contest Rules:

1. Your sentences must use only words from the You’ve been Sentenced! game.
2. 2 of the 10 cards may come from any add-on deck you choose, but are not mandatory.
3. Sentences must be grammatically correct.
4. Sentences must include an explanation. Special attention is paid to your story, so make it good!
5. PG rated only, please.
6. Sentence submission should be in the following format:

Which of (5) the (5) slick (5) fishy (10) blonds (5) named (5) this (5) bagger (10)?

Total cards used: 8/10
Total sentence value: 50 points

Explanation: In a lineup, a group of blonds (of dubious trustworthiness) pointed the finger at the local grocery store’s bagger as the culprit in a crime. Did he do it? The world may never know!

McNeill Designs reserves the right to delete sentence submissions that do not adhere to these rules. Winners will be announced monthly.
