Burke & Schindler Managing Partner to Receive Heart of Gold Award

Cincinnati, OH — February 7, 2011 — Patrick J. Burke is not only managing partner of local accounting firm Burke & Schindler, he also does his part to give back to the community. As a native Cincinnatian, Burke has contributed to the Boys Hope Girls Hope organization since 1995 and his commitment and generosity to the children of Cincinnati qualifies him for the Heart of Gold Award.

“Boys Hope Girls Hope is an organization that I truly believe in. Cincinnati’s children deserve the opportunity provided by a stable home and access to higher education. It’s been my personal goal as Board member and past Board Chair to work tirelessly for the program’s success,” said Burke.

Boys Hope Girls Hope hosts the Hearts for Hope Gala annually to honor an individual who has shown true commitment to improving the quality of life for Cincinnati children in need. Burke founded the Boys Hope Girls Hope Sponsors Organization in 1995 and acted as Board Chair from 2002 to 2008.

Unique to this year’s Gala is the incorporation of NFL star Dhani Jones’ philanthropic endeavor the “Bow Tie” cause. A limited edition Boys Hope Girls Hope Bow Tie will be available at the event, with all proceeds benefiting the organization.
