(openPR) - The Swiss belt conveyor specialist Montech AG is exhibiting at MEDTEC 2011 in Stuttgart, showing specific transport systems and handling components for the medical equipment sector.

At the Montech stand 6333 in Hall 6, visitors will find, among other things, the Vacuum conveyor, the cleanroom conveyor and specific handling components for the medical industry. “Our belts are manufactured with valuable materials that meet the sophisticated requirements of medical technology,” says Gianluca Aloisi, Director Sales, Montech AG. Thanks to their modularity, the conveyors can be assembled in variable configurations, extended or shortened with a simple and cost-effective approach.

Vacuum conveyor for blisters and packages
The Vacuum conveyor allows transporting all kinds of packages and blisters at high speed. Compared to conventional conveyors, the Vacuum conveyor offers a more dynamic acceleration and braking curve, combined with higher transport speed. Aloisi: “Conventional handling solutions require an unproductive return track. Montech’s Vacuum conveyor has no return and therefore helps increase productivity in the factory." The conveyor is also more cost effective and, compared to other systems, offers the additional benefit of compact dimensions, according to Aloisi.

ISO 5 Class conveyor for cleanrooms
The cleanroom conveyor developed by Montech has obtained the ISO 5 certification from the Fraunhofer Institute. This model can be used as feeding and discharge conveyor in stand-alone manufacturing plants or to link different production lines. “The ISO 5 certification from the Fraunhofer Institute opens up new application opportunities in the medical industry,” concludes Aloisi.
