(openPR) - In time with the release of Microsoft’s Windows Small Business Server 2011 (SBS), serVonic provides a suitable Small Business-variant of its unified messaging solution IXI-UMS. With the new Essentials-variant – in addition to the Standard-variant – Microsoft for the first time offers the Windows Small Business Server for use in the cloud. serVonic’s software is available for the Standard- as well as for the new Essentials-variant of Microsoft’s solution.

IXI-UMS SBE for SBS 2011 Standard
With the SBE (Small Business Edition) of IXI-UMS, serVonic offers a cost-effective variant for small companies, which is suitable to Microsoft’s Windows Small Business Server Standard. The unified messaging services Fax, Voice and SMS here can be integrated via the IXI-UMS Exchange 2010 Connector according to the needs. Until April 2011, serVonic offers two Special Packages for the Windows SBS 2011 Standard. The packages are available for two channels each and 10 or 25 users and contain the services Fax and Voice as well as an IXI-UMS Connector SBE for the connection to Microsoft Exchange.

serVonic BPOS Connect Service for SBS 2011 Essentials
The Essentials-variant of Microsoft’s Windows Small Business Servers 2011 mainly addresses small businesses with up to 25 PC’s. In contrast to the Standard-Edition, Microsoft Exchange here is available for on-demand use, just like it is arranged in the Business Productivity Suite BPOS/Office 365 from Microsoft. In order to be able to use UMS for the Essentials Edition of the Windows SBS 2011 as well, serVonic offers the BPOS Connect Service, which establishes the connection to Microsoft Exchange Online. serVonic also provides this service suitable for the Microsoft Cloud-model.
