Emotion Based Search Engine Set to Use BFO's Graph Library
Press release from: BFO - Big Faceless Organization
BFO, have granted a Computer Scientist from the University of Bath with a free Graph Library License to generate and Emotional Timewave (ET) of search results.
Eugene Yuta Bann say's his Project iDEA (Intelligent Digital Emotion Analyser) presents "a new way to model the flow of historic and current events, and will hopefully prove insightful into the nature of future events through ET pattern recognition."
For each search conducted, the main events associated with that search will be extracted to produce a timeline. An increase or decrease in emotion for each event is determined and each change relative to time is plotted as a percentage, providing an overall "Emotion Timewave" (ET) for the specified search.
Initial data sources to extract from will be Wikipedia for historic data and BBC News for current data. The data collected will be used to produced graphs and timelines using BFOs Graph Library.
