Retro-Style: »TECCO:PHOTO Sepia Satin Portrait« ? for Portrait, Architecture and Land Scape

Retro-Style: »TECCO:PHOTO Sepia Satin Portrait« ? for Portrait, Architecture and Land Scape

Tecco, innovation leader and trend setter in the market for photo, fine art- and
proofing paper, has developed a new special paper: »TECCO:PHOTO Sepia Satin
Portrait« ideally suited for black-and-white and sepia prints in the area of portrait,
architecture and land scape. It offers retro-style photographers various possibilities for differentiation.

Tecco justifies the development of the new paper with a growing demand for old-style papers in the segment of professional and amateur photographers, who need exclusive media also to express the high value of the art work. »It is of high importance for photographers in order to recognize their unique work, with regards to content, technique, haptic and especially emotion«, says Uwe Janke, Tecco´s Business Development Manager for Photography.

On time for Paperworld 2011 (Frankfurt, January 29th to February 1st) Tecco will
provide their partners with the new media.

»TECCO:PHOTO SSP240 Sepia Satin Portrait (240 g/qm)«
The new TECCO:PHOTO SSP240 Sepia Satin Portrait is a PE-paper with satin- surface with a weight of 240 gramm. The paper´s distinctive feature lies in the chamois-colored paper shade, ideally suited for black-and-white and sepia prints in the area of portrait, architecture and land scape. It contains no optical brighteners, providing a natural look and a long-lasting, continously premium appearance.

Background information: Modern, new technique in analogue, old look
Unlike Baryt inkjet papers, the retro-paper Sepia Satin Portrait was developed with the latest PE-paper techniques – its ideal flatness avoids cockling (paper wrinkling, as known from high application of ink onto papers without PE-coating).

The new Sepia paper shows the same retro-style coloring of Tecco´s warm shade
Baryt Ivory, nevertheless its handling regarding large format print is much easier.
