E-Commerce Provider Symmetrics Chooses Ciklum as its Strategic Nearshore IT Outsourcing Partner in Eastern Europe

KYIV, Ukraine – January 25, 2011 – Ciklum, a Danish innovative IT outsourcing company specialized in nearshore software development primarily in Eastern Europe, has built and is currently supporting two dedicated Magento software development teams for Symmetrics GmbH, one of the world’s leading Magento Enterprise partners. The teams are responsible for both Symmetrics’ software project development and customer support and services.

After careful research and analysis of 350 software development outsourcing services providers, Symmetrics shortlisted 30 potential candidates and finally selected Ciklum as its IT outsourcing partner.

The key factor driving Symmetrics’ decision to outsource parts of its application development, support and product developing process is a significant shortage of qualified IT resources within Germany. The company opted to outsource nearshore due to strong research and development potential and vast IT talent pool available in Eastern Europe.

Symmetrics’ management was impressed with the high quality of Ciklum’s HR and consultancy services, extensive recruitment network, overall reputation and responsiveness. But the final decision to partner with Ciklum was made after visiting its offices in Ukraine.
