Rayotek Scientific Inc. Contracts Ted Erlwein of High Sierra Consulting as New Government Liaison

SAN DIEGO, California — January 7, 2011— Rayotek Scientific Inc. is pleased to announce they have contracted Ted Erlwein, a government contracting specialist, of High Sierra Consulting as their new Government Liaison. The position was created to increase the market visibility of Rayotek’s glass and sapphire products and services to the Federal Government.
Ted possesses both a comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Government procurement process and an in-depth understanding of how best to position small businesses within the Federal system. The synergistic relationship of Rayotek’s engineering and manufacturing expertise with Ted’s marketing skills are perfectly matched to develop a proactive program and expand Rayotek’s presence in the Federal marketplace.
Ted will be involved in all levels of business development: bid, proposal and contract reviews, onsite meetings with prime contractors and Federal agencies, and attendance at conferences, expos and marketing events. By utilizing the relationships he has built and cultivated over the past seven years, Ted plans to selectively and rapidly expand Rayotek’s market presence. Ted’s unique capacity to interact in both the scientific and relationship arenas is one of the key drivers that led Rayotek to engage him and High Sierra Consulting as their new Government Liaison.
