Wind River demonstrates hard- and software platforms for real-time solutions in aircraft

Wind River, global leader in device software optimization, will demonstrate the Wind River Platform Safety Critical ARINC653 at the Avionics Exhibition and Conference in Amsterdam. The platform com-prises the RTOS VxWorks653 and Wind River Workbench delivering device software tools in a standards based Eclipse development environment. Wind River provides an opportunity to learn more about the modular open system architecture MOSArt developed by Barco, a Belgium-based specialist for display and visualisation solutions. MOSArt is the hardware platform using the Wind River Platform for Safety Critical ARINC653 to develop and operate real-time display solutions in aircraft. It allows manufacturers of aircraft components to develop and integrate standardised applications.
