Press release from: MLC PR
PR Agency: MLC PR
Los Angeles, CA- On Friday, January 21st, pop/rock band, Official Hot Mess, will premiere the music video to their new single “Money Makes the Girl$ Go Round” on MTV.com.
Consisting of front women, Kristy and Lindsey Landers and a four-piece male band in tow, Official Hot Mess has been taking the music industry by storm with their captivating melodies, enchanting harmonies, and controversial lyrics. The bands debut album went to the top of the charts throughout Asia and Australia and now they are in high demand playing sold out shows alongside The Bangles, We The Kings, Flo Rida, Plies, Kevin Rudolf, Bubba Sparxxx, Mitchel Musso and Ja Rule, to name a few.
This isn’t the first time Official Hot Mess decided to team up with MTV. The band released their first music video, “Welcome 2 LA” on MTV and MTVU and received incredible response, with the video re-airing on E! News, Fuse TV, MTV Buzzworthy, and AOL.com. In addition, the network has featured the bands music on such popular shows as “The Hills,” “The City,” “My Super Sweet 16,” “The Jersey Shore,” and “The Real World.”
“From playing our music videos, to featuring our music on their incredible hit TV shows…MTV has shown Official Hot Mess a lot of love and support and we so appreciate the recognition from such a respectable network,” says Kristy and Lindsey.
Their single “Money Makes the Girl$ Go Round” just premiered on AOL Music and AOL Radio, and has been added to the rotation of “New Pop First.” It has also already been licensed by hit shows including “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” “Gigantic” and “The Real L Word.” Official Hot Mess has most recently been selected as Clear Channel Radio and I Heart Radio’s (incl. stations such as Z100, KISS FM, and Y100) “NEW! Artist to Watch” and “NEW! Recommended Artist” of the month.
“Money Makes the Girl$ Go Round” will be available on iTunes January 25th.
