(openPR) - Olching, 14th February 2007: At the booth of Dialogic & Partners (Hall 12, Booth B39) at CeBIT 2007 in Hanover, Germany, serVonic introduces its new IXI-UMS Version 5.7 with optimized message delivery and reception as well as improved configuration and administration possibilities of the unified messaging solution. Furthermore, the German software manufacturer announces the new version as “Ready for Microsoft Exchange 2007“ and “Ready for Microsoft Windows Vista“. In the field of CTI, serVonic presents the new IXI-Call Version 3.0 and the new IXI-Call MetaDirectory Release 2.0.

UMS – IXI-UMS Release 5.7
With the new IXI-UMS Version 5.7, serVonic enhanced the application possibilities of the unified messaging solution: The new IXI-UMS Client Tools, which offer more comfort to the users when sending messages can also be used at workstations with Microsoft Windows Vista, Outlook 2007 and Office 2007. The reworked IXI-UMS system tray symbol of the Client Tools offers the user e.g. improved possibilities to send files directly out of the Explorer by Drag Drop. For the administrator, a new setup simplifies the installation of the IXI-UMS Client Tools via the option of the software distribution by MSI.
The features of the new IXI-UMS Kernel offer major customers with a high volume of UM-messages improvements with the sending and the reception of messages: The “IXI-UMS Number Converter” allows companies with networked PBX’s to integrate IXI-UMS perfectly in the PBX-comprehensive routing and guarantee a cost-optimized sending, correct billing and uncomplicated user maintenance for unified messaging. The number of outgoing UM-messages can be limited centrally with the feature “IXI-UMS Daily Limit”. Companies that send large numbers of UM-messages to particular remote stations regularly have the feature “IXI-UMS Simultaneous Connection” for a higher performance at their disposal.
The administration and configuration of the new feature can be carried out in the MMC (Microsoft Management Console).
With the new IXI-UMS Domino Connector, installation, administration and configuration of the unified messaging solution in IBM Lotus Domino environment has been improved.

UMS – IXI-UMS ready for Microsoft Exchange 2007
With “IXI-UMS ready for Microsoft Exchange 2007“, companies have a mature solution at their disposal, which integrates in the new version of the collaboration software seamlessly. The new IXI-UMS Exchange 2007 Connector thereby provides the features Fax, Voice and SMS for the messaging platform. “With Exchange 2007, Microsoft revitalized the topic unified messaging,“ says Jochen Klein, CEO at serVonic GmbH. “As a long-time Microsoft Certified Partner and ISV, we further develop our solution in the field of Exchange constantly. The familiar orientation of serVonic’s solution to the best integration, however, is not limited Exchange, but is also of benefit for companies with the parallel operation with other systems like IBM Lotus Domino, mySAP Business Suite, Microsoft Dynamics NAV as well as with the integration in different PBX-environments.“

CTI – IXI-Call 3.0 and IXI-Call MetaDirectory Release 2.0
The new IXI-Call Version 3.0 offers the user computer-aided call management with Microsoft Windows Vista, Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007. New features enhance the CTI-solution: So the presence management with the seamless integration of the Microsoft Outlook Calendar has been optimized. Extended search features offer the possibility of a more differentiated search for contacts, the "Active-Contacts"-technology a systematic processing of the contact data. A new IXI-Call status monitor allows an overview of internal and external contacts that can be arranged individually.
The new release 2.0 of the IXI-Call MetaDirectory has been extended by a web-based Intranet phone book. This offers the user search possibilities via common web browsers. New Connectors enable the connection of different ERP- and CRM-systems.
