RTP IdeaLab Hosts Inaugural Meeting
Press release from: RTP IdeaLab
New organization will help entrepreneurs in the ideation phase of their company
The lights are officially on at RTP IdeaLab which held its inaugural meeting in November at Hosted Solutions in Raleigh.
“Everyone has an idea about doing something big,” says chairman and co-founder Anthony Edwards. “We've created an opportunity for anyone to take their idea and work with experienced and successful entrepreneurs to get feedback and advice for how to take that idea and turn it into a reality.”
Bill Sarine, another IdeaLab founder feels there is a lack of support in the Triangle area for individuals in the ideation phase of their idea. “RTP IdeaLab fills that void and allows bright entrepreneurial minds to vet their ideas and receive mentoring to determine what the potential could be.” Bill is also the founder of EntreDot, which focuses on mentoring and coaching small early stage companies.
The organization is gearing up for its next major event on January 26, 2011 at 8:00 AM at RTP Headquarters at 12 Davis Drive.
Interested individuals can sign up to attend or present ideas at www.rtpidealab.org
What's your idea? Don't just think about it... Do something about it!
