Printers Row Fine & Rare Books achieves great success in traffic and sales on new ecommerce platform built by Glaser Technology on the Mediachase eCommerce Framework (ECF).Washington, DC – January 12, 2011 – Mediachase is pleased to announce the launch and immediate reception of PrintersRowBooks.com, the new site for Printers Row Fine & Rare Books, implemented by Glaser Technology on the Mediachase ECF G5. The new site launch and ecommerce platform has already brought impressive quantifiable benefits to Printers Row Fine & Rare Books. Monthly viewership has increased from a mere 200 visitors to over 3,500 and growing. With this increased traffic to PrintersRowBooks.com, overall sales have increased over 300%. These results are expected to continue to grow exponentially as Printers Row Fine & Rare Books extends its catalog and offerings, creating an ever-growing presence in the rare book collectors’ market not only in Chicago, but also worldwide, all driven on the strength of the ECF G5.
Printers Row Fine & Rare Books required a new solution that would integrate with various back-end systems; creating a single consolidated solution for a more streamline and efficient business process. Because the ECF G5 allows any third party integration through its robust API system, PrintersRowBooks.com was able to integrate its Quickbooks™ accounting system, ABE™ book management system, and custom data sources seamlessly.
