mooppix has been dedicated to helping people and companies succeed through the use of advanced technologies.
State College, PA, January 12, 2011: mooppix has officially begun providing its Professional Services to the general public. Until now mooppix has been strictly a consulting company which primarily helped Universities, Health-care providers and local businesses with their technology needs. Including: but not limited to: Software development, web page design, networking, network security, system analysis, UNIX client/server administration, Windows client/server administration and database administration.
All of our professional services are now available to anyone who needs them. Services such as:

In the coming months we will be stocking inventory with some of the products that we use in our day to day operations and system integration projects. Since beginning in 2000, mooppix has been dedicated to helping people and companies succeed through the use of advanced technologies.

In our early years mooppix was strictly a consulting company which primarily helped Universities, Health-care providers and local businesses with their technology needs. Including: web page design, networking, system analysis, UNIX client/server administration, shell scripting to automate daily tasks, Windows client/server administration, technical writing, network security and database administration.

While our strong suit was networking and administration mooppix moved into telecommunications; providing high speed internet, satellite and digital broadcast solutions to various clientele. Using our experience and technology at the time we were contracted to blanket entire metropolitan areas with Wi-Fi access.

As more and more companies started global outsourcing and relying on data centers instead of their in-house server rooms and IT staff, mooppix needed another direction to move forward and grow. Our solution was to jump into the software arena.

Once we decided to offer software solutions, it was only natural to look at our existing clientele and searched for new markets to expand. Our software solutions consisted of business center security software, digital signage software; media broadcast software and interactive wayfinding software. These packages were marketed to Universities, health-care providers and the hospitality industry.

While mooppix core capability remains providing custom software products and Information Technology solutions, we have always lacked one crucial element...off the shelf solutions. All of our solutions were just that…solutions. We wanted to move into the turn-key, off the shelf software packages and integrated systems.

Looking to the future, mooppix will continue to build on the relationships between our areas of expertise as the foundation for developing future technology solutions and bridging the hardware software gap. Since the beginning we always wanted to offer our services and products to a public audience, that is our attempt for the future.
