Snap-action switch by Schaltbau GmbH in use in wind turbines

The S840 snap-action switch by Schaltbau GmbH is used in a gearbox limit switch by Meyer Industrie Electronic.
The S840 snap-action switch is fitted with positive opening and self-cleaning contacts (silver or gold). It can be used at temperatures between -40 and +85°C. The mechanical lifetime is around 10 million switching operations. You will find more information at www.schaltbau-gmbh.de.
