The site currently operates in different verticals of restaurants, bars, cafes, Gyms & health clubs, book stores, apparel brands, tattoo parlors, art and hobby places, entertainment locations, optical stores, spa and salons in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon and has more than 150 merchants offering exclusive discounts of up to 85% off to mDeals users. Also city wise events & happenings would be added to the site in the version 2.0.
When asked about going against the tide, and not getting into the group buying industry, Amit Sharma, Director, mDeals answered, “ Our motto has always been to increase the ease & comfort level of the users while buying any deal. Downloading a deal is quite easy with mDeals, one just needs to browse through the categories in the desired location, select their favorite merchant and download the deal. In version 2.0 however, for deal download, user would have to register with mDeals, which again would be free and would need minimalistic details. Once downloaded, user gets the discount coupon code as a SMS & an Email from mDeals. To redeem the coupon, user has to just walk in to the business outlet and show the voucher. Done! Easy!
