(openPR) - San Diego, California, Dec 14, 2010 – Stevens-Henager College Salt Lake City/Murray, an affiliate of California College San Diego, is now offering an online Bachelor of Science (BS) in Graphic Arts degree.
The introduction of the BS degree follows from an Associate of Science in Graphic Arts program that is also available online through Stevens-Henager College Salt Lake City/Murray.
The announcement couldn’t have come at a better time, as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in the 2010-11 edition of its Occupational Outlook Handbook, has designated a Bachelor’s degree as the standard credential for most entry-level and senior graphic design positions.(www.bls.gov/oco/ocos090.htm#training)
The Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts is offered fully online and can be earned in 36 months, or 30 months on Stevens-Henager Online’s flexible (FastFlex) schedule.
The program covers a wide variety of courses aimed at imparting technical proficiency as well as business intelligence to students, in addition to honing their creative skills.
As a part of the BS degree, students can look forward to learning topics such as Web Page Design, Photoshop, Typography, Layout Design, Flash, Flash Animation and many other advanced concepts related to graphic arts and design.
Those who enroll in this Bachelor’s program also receive an Apple laptop that they can use in school to complete their coursework and keep once they graduate.
Qualifying candidates can start school within a month’s time since classes begin every month at California College San Diego’s affiliate Stevens-Henager College Salt Lake City/Murray. They will be required to go through an online interview and complete an enrollment form prior to starting school.
Financial planning also forms an important part of the admissions process, and students have to declare how they plan to fund their tuition. They can also make use of financial planning assistance offered by the college to identify the aid for which they qualify.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
