IT, New Media & Software
Press release from: eMundo GmbH
PR Agency: Inga Trautmann - Marketing, PR & Redaktion
(openPR) - The JWT project is a proposed open source project under the Eclipse Technology Project.

JWT will use as a starting point the AgilPro contribution.
See www.eclipse.org/proposals/jwt/

JWT abstract

The JWT project aims to provide both build-time and runtime generic tools for workflow engines. It will initially be composed of two tools, WE (Workflow Editor) and WAM (Workflow engine Administration and Monitoring tool). JWT also aims to provide generic APIs for defining and administrating business processes, in order to achieve said genericity.

Eclipse

Eclipse is an open source platform-independent software framework for delivering "rich-client applications". So far this framework has typically been used to develop Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), such as the Java IDE called Java Development Toolkit (JDT) and compiler (ECJ) that comes as part of Eclipse. Eclipse was originally developed by IBM as the successor to its VisualAge family of tools. Eclipse is now managed by the Eclipse Foundation, an independent not-for-profit consortium of software industry vendors. Many notable software tool vendors have embraced Eclipse as a future framework for their IDE. Eclipse is the most popular Java IDE at present. see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclipse_%28software%29
