Belarus to ratify all Single Economic Space documents by 1 January
Press release from: BelTA
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko assured that Belarus will ratify all the documents on the formation of the Single Economic Space by 1 January 2011. The Belarusian President made this statement following the session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council in Moscow on 9 December, BelTA has learnt.
“I assure you that we will ratify all the documents on the Single Economic Space formation by 1 January. We will ratify them before our partners will,” the President said. In his words, all the 17 documents on the formation of the Single Economic Space have been signed today.
Alexander Lukashenko believes that the participating states will have new opportunities for the free movement of goods, services, capital and workforce, which should contribute to faster social and economic development of the states and improvement of the living standards of the population.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that despite the difficulties, over the last year the trade between Belarus and Russia has risen by about 50%, the same is true for the trade with Kazakhstan. “I am sure the trade between Russia and Kazakhstan will be as brisk,” the President said. He pointed to the GDP growth in the three countries in 2010: in Russia, Kazakhstan it was 6-7%, in Belarus about 8%.
The results of the work are obvious, the Belarusian head of state said. “Today we have a 170 million market, and it should not be underestimated," he added.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
