Optimal Use of Networked PBX's for Unified Messaging - serVonic IXI-UMS Number Converter
Press release from: serVonic GmbH

The IXI-UMS Number Converter converts the recipient number of a fax message that had been created in Nuremberg via the central mail system in Munich in accordance with the complex of rules
With the IXI-UMS Number Converter, especially companies with a central mail system and IXI-UMS system can make use of the crosslink codes of the single PBX’s optimally for the routing of the UM-messages both inbound and outbound. With outgoing UM-messages, costs of calls can be distributed correctly to the responsible party that way. When a user at a site creates a UM-message in the central mail system via the mail client – e.g. MS Outlook or IBM Lotus Notes –, the IXI-UMS Number Converter converts the recipient number in accordance with the complex of rules. The connection that way is not routed via the PBX of the head office, but via the local PBX of the sender. A complicated billing via the head office becomes unnecessary. The user- and call number-maintenance in the user administration needed for the delivery of incoming UM-messages is easy to handle with the IXI-UMS Number Converter. No crosslink codes have to be entered; the users can be maintained with their “original” call numbers. Changes in the PBX-architecture, e.g. because of new sites, have no effort on the data maintenance.
“Networked PBX’s enable companies to save costs for calls internally as well as to realize a common administration of call numbers,” says Jochen Klein, CEO at serVonic GmbH. “With the IXI-UMS Number Converter, also an additional unified messaging solution like IXI-UMS can be integrated in these PBX-structures optimally.”

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
