(openPR) - Los Angeles, CA, December 7, 2010- Andrea Belz, MBA, PhD, an advisor in technology and effective leadership is celebrating the release of her new book, “The McGraw Hill 36-Hour Course: Product Development” at 7 pm on December 10th at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena, California. Dr. Belz will be signing books and answering questions.
“I am very excited for the book’s release,” said Dr. Belz. “Through my work with various organizations, like NASA and JPL, I realized a need for a comprehensive and coherent guide. It’s a complete course in project development without the staggering tuition.”
“The McGraw Hill 36-Hour Course: Product Development” is a “MBA-in-a-box” approach to product development. The book includes all the elements of strategy, finance, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, and launch programs in an easy-to-read guide. It also comes with quizzes, case studies, hints for service providers, and many straightforward explanations weaved throughout the book.
Presenting the most current marketing tools and best practices, it provides proven methods behind successful product development, along with case studies from the most creative companies of our time—Apple, Google, Cisco, Toyota, Pixar, and many others. In less than a week you’ll be an expert.
Dr. Belz has collaborated with groups including the California Institute of Technology, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, General Electric, and many of the leading investment groups in Southern California. She has also worked closely with management teams and boards in organizations of all sizes, providing guidance in finance and operations.
Additionally, Dr. Belz writes a monthly column for E-Commerce Times and has been interviewed by CNN.com, Fund Strategy, and other groups in the media. She speaks frequently on topics related to technology and innovation, as well as on best practices in product development.
