Paula Lin Proves That A Voice Over Business Can Go Anywhere
Press release from: Voices.com
(openPR) - Proving that being a freelance voice over artist is truly a versatile business, voice actress and award winning broadcast journalist Paula Lin has picked her business up from its location in Washington, D.C. and moved it to Orange, Connecticut to get back in touch with her roots.
“The horrific day of 9-11-2001 brought out my deep-set longing to return to close family and friends in Connecticut and New York. I was in a new instructional media job in Maryland where I saw on live TV the destruction of the Twin Towers in New York and a plane dive into the Pentagon,” recounts Lin. “Remarkably, my first script that day was on helping children cope with highly stressful situations. Eventually, when my mom said, “Paula, come home,” I knew it was time. Better late than never. To my good fortune, I was able to bring home my growing voice over business for professional survival as well.”
Focusing on growing her business from her new location, Lin is able to work with clients anywhere in the world, anytime by utilizing digital technologies like email, mp3 files, and through sites like Voices.com.
“I know I could successfully bring my vocal and writing talents with me wherever I landed. After all, I had my microphone, computer, copy stand, headphones, lights and more!” Lin says.
