Snoozester Releases the Official Sleepyhead Index
Press release from: Snoozester Inc
(openPR) - Snoozester, a company that provides wake up calls and reminders, today announced the launch of Snoozester Labs and the release of the first official Snoozester Sleepyhead Index. Snoozester Labs offers research and analysis based on data gathered from the Snoozester.com wake up call and reminder service.
The Snoozester Sleepyhead Index ranks areas within the United States based on how likely their residents are to hit the snooze button. Like a traditional alarm clock, Snoozester wake up calls include the option to snooze. If the recipient of a Snoozester wake up call needs a few more minutes of shut-eye, they can press the snooze button to have Snoozester call back in 10 minutes.
Snoozester Labs calculates the Sleepyhead Index by tracking the percentage of calls snoozed against the total number of wake up calls for a given region. The index ranks all fifty states based on how often their residents choose to hit the snooze button and sleep for a few more minutes instead of getting up immediately.
The top five sleepyhead states are: Vermont, South Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia and Indiana. The full report, including a ranking of the top 100 metropolitan areas for Sleepyheads, is available on the Snoozester Labs website: Snoozester.com/Labs .
Snoozester helps people wake up on time and remember important events and appointments. The company, which was founded in 2005, has delivered millions of wake up and reminder calls. Snoozester has also partnered with universities to offer the service at no charge to their students.
