Both wearable and livable designs were featured at the fall 2010 event at One Thousand Ocean, an address of distinction in Boca Raton, Florida.

BOCA RATON, Florida – The start of the social season is always an exciting time in South Florida, and the well-attended “Celebration of Style” at One Thousand Ocean in Boca Raton in November was a stellar example of one of the events in this year’s lineup.

Guests arriving at One Thousand Ocean for the Saks Fifth Avenue co-hosted event had an opportunity to celebrate both wearable and livable design in a setting that is architecturally distinctive. First, they toured beautiful furnished model residences at the ultra-luxury condominium, which is adjacent to the Resort’s Beach Club.

Guests then were escorted to one of the contemporary building’s expansive penthouses, where they were treated to cocktails and culinary pleasures. At the same time, striking “live” models presented a preview of the 2010 Holiday Couture Collection created by highly regarded, Miami Beach-based designer Craig Signer.

A recognized style guru and arbiter of good taste, Signer has designed for celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Williams, Gloria Estefan and Hilary Swank, to name a few.

Showpiece jewels by luxury brand Roberto Coin were also on display, along with Bond No. 9 fragrances, as upbeat music floated through the air to further set the festive tone of the evening.
