HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung signs further lease agreements for mercatura in Aalen
Press release from: HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung GmbH
(openPR) - About 70 percent of commercial space already let
HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung has let a further 2,000 square meters at the Aalen urban district development, mercatura: The new tenants are Gerry Weber, Shoetown Werdich, 1982, the bakery Backparadies Berroth, Feichtenbeiner’s country butcher, Kristall-Eleganz which sells jewellery, and a juice bar. This means that just under one year before the official opening, 7,800 square meters—or almost 70 percent of the commercial space—has been let to businesses selling everyday and luxury products.
Almost 27,000 square meters of above-ground gross floor space will be created at mercatura by the end of 2011. Apart from the shopping mall with a glass-roofed, central plaza, which offers roughly 11,500 square meters of commercial space, the building will contain service and office space on the upper levels. Duplex apartments with gardens will be created on the greened roof level. The public underground car park will have almost 400 parking slots, with a further 40 slots available solely for the tenants’ use. The anchor tenant in the shopping mall will be a large German fashion store which is letting a little over 1,900 square meters. In addition, New Yorker, Esprit, Street One, BONITA, the shoe store Schneider, and Tamaris have all secured space in mercatura which will also be home to a dm drugstore, a Kaliss healthfood store, the Klier hair salon, Cosmo hairdressing supplies, and an O2 outlet.
