(openPR) - Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray Launches The First Weekend Of Black History Month With Broadcasting Pioneer Ollie Collins, Jr
"As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed learning from people who do what I do 10 times better, so I count it another of God's many blessings to have done a worldwide interview with arguably the most influential broadcaster in Black Gospel history," said Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray.
Ollie Collins, Jr currently hosts the syndicated television show "From Down South" and owns Black Gospel spiritual-giant WSEL-FM in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he does 2 to 3 hours a day on the air.
"It was God who opened the doors, and if I've gotten anywhere or accomplished anything else in this life, it was He," said Collins, who characterized Gray's universal audience as "farther than I've ever gone out in my whole lifetime!"
Gray, who is an independent voice-over artist and cousin of "Mary Mary" Super Producer Warryn "Baby Dubb" Campbell, hosts the popular "Simply Gospel" music program, which airs live on theICN.Com (The International Christian Network) every Saturday Night at 6 PST.
Gray plans to rebroadcast the historic Collins interview Saturday, February 10 at 9pm.
Gray is always looking for your help tracking down the following types of stories and more:
1. A portrait of a family living on a dollar a day
2. A day in the life of an AIDS patient raising kids
3. An investigation of people being sold into slavery in places like Ghana
4. A profile of a person who fixes up old furniture/houses for new immigrants
5. New business ventures in places like rural Mexico.
6. People helping to save the planet.
Gray also invites the world to call the request
line any Saturday night to say happy birthday, and stay tuned to his universal broadcast to hear that birthday announcement.
The International Christian (Radio) Network broadcasts live Gospel Music Programs, featuring selected station-sponsored radio personalities like Roy Gray.
Simply Gospel Radio, founded by "Your Uncle Bill," furnishes Roy Gray's live on-air talent package to various radio stations.
