This is the Rammstein first tour in 10 years since their last US tour that was attended by 130,000 people. The main reason behind the scheduling of this tour is the fact that thousands of US fans traveled to Canada to attend their concert at Quebec Summer Festival this July.
The 2010 fall tour of the legendary Rammstein band is a tour to the Latin American and its dates have already been announced. The band will debut the tour in Chile on November 25th in Santiago, next they will appear in Argentina on November 27th in Buenos Aires. Their first Brazil tour is on November 30th in Sao Paulo and their second tour will be from Via Funchal on December 1st. December 3rd is their day in Columbia in the city of Bogota. The Mexico City will host the two German concerts on December 6th & 7th. Next is the much awaited concert of the year when they will show their music wonders in front of Americans on December 11th at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York, the world’s most famous arena. The 19,000 seats tickets for the MSG shows were sold in just 30 minutes and Rammstein is the first German band to achieve the feat. It’s because of their 10 years absence in America and the supreme success of their latest song “You’ve got a pussy. I have a dick. Let’s get together. Let’s do it quick” in America. The song is a mix of German and English and became instantly popular after its release.
One of the Rammstein tours to American in 1998 was full of controversies as the band members spend one night in jail for indecency. However out of their 5 albums 4 have reached at the number five position in US. Rammstein concerts are famous for making heavy use of pyrotechnics and sometimes controversial interaction between band members including the famous act of the lead singer Till Lindemann in which he sprays the crowd fake urine with a strap-on penis. The Rammstein music concerts are always full of shocks, surprises not outside but inside the Germany as well. Their album “Liebe ist für alle da” was banned for sale to minors as officials believe that Album contains offensive lyrics.
