Why Brazil? The country offers an enormous potential for our fleet management system: 60% of transports are carried out on the roads, companies need large vehicle fleets to transport goods across the country due to its vastness and since trains are not a common means of transport, big bus companies have to take care of public transport. This and the ongoing consolidation trend in the transport market implicate that companies need to be able to manage huge vehicle fleets.
comm.fleet (http://www.community4you.de/en/products/fleet-management/fleet/index.html) supports fleet managers in administrating and controlling those vehicle fleets and offers special features for their individual needs in Brazil. Meeting their security concerns and worries about bad roads comm.fleet includes a damage and risk management to capture damage-relevant information centrally and to provide information about the repair and maintenance history of vehicles. A multitude of standard interfaces assures an unproblematic integration into local system environments and optimal connections to external service providers. Moreover, it maps every conceivable feature of the companies' business processes adequately.
Having finalized the translation of comm.fleet into Portuguese, we are looking forward to presenting it during our next trips to Brazil in November and December.
