Big Bad Wolf Studios Presents “Double Divas” Voice Over Work Shop
Press release from: Voices.com
(openPR) - On December fourth the East coast meets the West coast in a rare opportunity to learn from two of the top female voice over coaches in Canada at Big Bad Wolf Studios in Toronto, Ontario.
Deb Munro, who is providing the voice for the upcoming 2010 Canadian New Media Awards, along with Gemini nominated voice actor Elley Ray Hennessy, bring together the perspectives of both union and non union voice talent in this industry first.
Deb and Elley Ray will engage participants on the vast spectrum of voice overs covering everything from characters to broadcasting, skills to business, with tips on the local and online markets. This unique workshop will push participants beyond their limits, expanding their knowledge about auditioning, acting techniques and much more.
Deb Munro will be limiting her travelling workshops so this will be the last chance for Torontonians to learn from Deb for a long while. Join the “Double Divas” on December fourth and fifth from ten in the morning to six in the evening, with a mixer on Saturday immediately following the workshop. To learn more or to register for the event email workshops@micnme.com or call 604-459-5559
About Deb Munro
With seventeen years in broadcast, animation, and freelance voicing Deb Munro is able to offer a unique perspective into the Voice-Over industry. She is able to incorporate her extensive training, her broadcasting degree, years in theatre and on camera acting, experience as a Casting agent and more into doing what she loves best, spreading her passion for this incredible industry. Deb will be voicing the prestigious Canadian New Media Awards on December 1st 2010. Munro is based in British Columbia, Canada.
About Elley Ray Hennessy
Loud, lanky and often outrageous, Ellen-Ray Hennessy epitomizes the Canadian actor's schizophrenic life. She does movies and television, commercials and voice-overs, for the landlord - and theatre for the soul. Hennessy is a frequent and arresting presence on the nation's TV sets. She has a lead role in Disney's new series Flash Forward, hosts Discovery's Trail Mix travelogue, and this year received a Gemini nomination for One Last Look In The Mirror, on Bravo. Hennessey is based in Ontario, Canada.
