Press release from: Imperato For President 2008
(openPR) - Las Vegas, NV – January 29, 2007 – Today it was announced that 2008 US Independent Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato will be making a special appearance at the 2007 Miss America Pageant at the Aladdin Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The invitation was at the request of The Children's Miracle Network, an alliance of over 170 premier hospitals dedicated towards life-saving medical treatment for children (www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org).

Imperato was a special invited guest at last night's Miss America "Evening of Dreams" dinner. The proceeds from the dinner went to aid The Children's Miracle Network, the official platform of Miss America 2007.

"I am honored to be part of this American tradition," stated Imperato. "The Miss America pageant has been a staple in American homes for as long as I can remember. I feel that the pageant stresses good morals, values, and helps young women to better themselves and achieve high goals."

The Miss America Pageant will be broadcast tonight at 8pm on CMT – Country Music Television – and will be broadcast for the first time on a Monday, instead of its usual Saturday timeslot. Hosting this year's competition will be Mario Lopez, of "Dancing with the Stars" and "Saved By the Bell" fame.
