Tunnel Design & Construction Northeast Asia Conference

The Tunnel Design & Construction Northeast Asia conference will take place at the Harbour Grand hotel in Hong Kong on the 24th and 25th November 2010.
The IQPC (International Quality & Productivity Centre) organized event will be the comprehensive tunneling event offering presentations on the latest trends and technology for the best design, construction and maintenance from respected experts within the tunneling industry.
The event will cover design codes for tunnels, various construction methods employed, cost-benefit analysis, latest M&E advancements, fire safety practices and procedures, ventilation/pollution control and trends in geotechnical investigations for subsurface infrastructure construction, and case studies.
Tunneling case studies will be discussed, which will include China’s Shenzhen Metro Line 3 Chongming Tunnel Shanghai Rail Tranist Line 6 and Tseun Wan Drainage Tunnel, Fehmarn Belt Immersed Tunnel in Denmark, the New Hobson Bay Sewer Tunnel in Australia, the Delhi Metro Rail Tunnel in India, and the Wan Chai Bypass and Island Eastern Corridor Link in Hong Kong.
