The glittering awards ceremonies were held on 7 and 8 October in Bangkok and Hua Hin, Thailand respectively.

The annual TTG Travel Awards, organised by TTG Asia Media, is widely acknowledged to be one of the travel and hospitality industry’s most influential awards in the region, recognising some of the industry’s finest representatives that have consistently shown strong commitment towards service excellence.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards, positioned as the pinnacle of achievement for luxury hotels worldwide, set the benchmark for five-star luxury hotels in achieving recognition for their world-class facilities and unsurpassed service standards. Nominations are made by guests, the organisations themselves, as well as travel agents, tour operators and independent travel consultants from around the world. This year’s awards saw an increase of 50 per cent in nominations from last year, with over 1,000 properties enrolled in the judging process. The property that receives the most number of votes worldwide is crowned the Overall Winner.
